The Pipeline Safety Trust to Provide Panel at Industry Conference

The American Petroleum Institute and the Association of Oil Pipe Lines has invited the Pipeline Safety Trust to provide a panel for their 56th Annual Pipeline Conference in Austin Texas on April 19th and 20th. We have been given 90 minutes, with no strings attached, to discuss "What the Public Expects of Pipeline Operators."

500 representatives of pipeline companies from throughout North America regularly attend this conference, so we view this as an extremely valuable opportunity to continue to open the dialogue about how industry and citizens can work together to improve pipeline safety.

Joining the Pipeline Safety Trust's Executive Director Carl Weimer will be: Lois Epstein the Senior Engineer for the Cook Inlet Keeper in Alaska; Robert Rackleff a County Commissioner for Leon County Florida; and Gini Cooper the Chairman of the Floyd Unified Landowners' Association.
