  • The first phase of Northwest Pipeline was completed in 1957.
  • Distance: 1,400 miles of Natural Gas Pipeline

  • Williams Northwest Pipeline operates a 4,158-mile natural gas transmission pipeline crossing the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. The pipeline provides customers in the Pacific Northwest with access to both Rocky Mountain and Canadian gas supplies.
  • The natural gas transported on Northwest Pipeline is delivered to local distribution companies, marketers, producers, electric generators and various industrial users. Puget Sound Energy,
  • Avista Corporation and Cascade Natural Gas are three of Northwest Pipeline's largest customers.
  • Northwest Pipeline is exploring the option of replacing the capacity it utilizes in its 26-inch pipeline in the I-5 corridor with segments of new 36-inch pipeline.
