K.B. Pipeline Co (KBPC) owns a 10 percent interest in the Kelso-Beaver pipeline, a FERC-regulated interstate natural gas pipeline that runs approximately 19 miles from the interstate pipeline facilities of Northwest Pipeline Corporation in Cowlitz County, Washington to Columbia County, Oregon, near Portland General Electric Company's Beaver generating station. KBPC's FERC certificate authorizes it to use all of its ownership interest capacity in the Kelso-Beaver pipeline to transport up to 19,300 Dth/d of natural gas for KBPC's affiliate, NW Natural. Currently, KBPC's share of the pipeline is not open access so it may only provide transportation service to NW Natural.
